Be careful when you order a beer, they will charge you 70 TL per person extra + 10 % from the bill extra if no food ordered. We were surprised and they show us the last small line on the menu list!!! In addition the view is on the eating side and not on the drink side. Place definitively to avoid.

The room was clean and has a really nice view. The breakfast was good but low variety. The location is great and you can enjoy the view of galata tower. The building was old and I liked the room but there wasn’t any mirror in the room and you had to use the mirror in the bathroom. The only thing that bothered us was the small elevator, you had to wait for your turn. Only 3 or 4 people could use it each time.

The rooftop restaurqnt has a very nice view on galata tower, I wish i could say the same about the food. I ordered mushroom risotto supposedly with parsley and parmesan. When the meal came it was soaking with water feom the mushrooms, it was normal rice with no parsley and parmesan. Hospital food would have been better than this. My sister had ordered mineral water, they brought her half a glass with a lemon, when we asked where the bottle is they said they opened it in the kitchen. It was probably a left over from another bottle. My glass of wine was actually half a glass too. It was also very noisy with loud music playing Not very nice for diner

Although we were in a perfect location the hotel was very dated . We were supposed to be in a deluxe double the room was tiny and dark. We had a small balcony and the window box had cigarette Stubbs in it. The bathroom ceiling had a big stain on it and at one point the water was dripping from the ceiling , to be fair it was repaired right away. The breakfast room was fabulous, the views were amazing . The staff were all lovely and friendly . It was just a shame the room was not as described 😟 below are pictures of what we should have stayed in and also what we actually got. Very disappointed Istanbul is an amazing place with plenty to see and do

An amazing location next Galata Tower. Historical building , nice terrace restaurant just rooms are small if you like huge rooms. If you like to walk much long along to Istikla Street you can go up and down. Up stairs also restaurant with fully Galata Tower view and otherside with a old city view. Recommended.
